1. Why we publish this
A badge only helps if you know what it means. This page lists exactly what we check before showing “Verified Breeder”, and what the badge doesn't claim.
2. The process
Draft → Submitted → Under review → Verified / Rejected / Suspended. Our team may ask for more documents during review. For every decision we record the reviewer, date, documents reviewed, outcome and reason (for rejections and suspensions). Breeders can see their verification history.
3. What we check
- The breeder's mobile number is verified through OTP sign-in.
- The profile is complete: kennel or business name, location (city-level), experience and breed specialisations.

4. What the badge does not mean
- It does not guarantee the health, temperament, pedigree or genetics of any animal.
- It is not an endorsement of any specific sale or breeding arrangement.
- It is not a veterinary certification.
5. Keeping it valid
Badges can be suspended or removed if a breeder breaks our Terms or Guidelines, or after credible reports. Changes to breeding availability are logged.
